Chris Cassell

Vice President, Corporate Sustainability, Lowe’s Companies Inc.

As vice president, corporate sustainability, Chris Cassell leads and drives all aspects of Lowe’s sustainability strategy, coordinating the company’s overall approach to environmental, social and governance reporting, and serves as Lowe’s chief internal and external advocate to enhance the company’s impact on the environment. He joined Lowe’s in 2011.

Chris has more than 25 years of experience in consulting, business planning, strategy, and sustainability. Prior to this role, he served as senior director, corporate sustainability. During his tenure, Chris has also served as director of business planning and strategy, and director of future planning. Before joining Lowe’s, he served as a management consultant at North Highland and Accenture.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University and a master’s degree in international business studies from The Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina
