Unpacking the Overlap Between the EU's PPWR and California's SB 54
For companies operating across multiple jurisdictions, changes made to meet one set of requirements can have unintended impacts elsewhere, or lead to opportunities to streamline. This session will examine areas where the EU’s 2024 Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and California’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) law for packaging, SB 54, align and differ. Attendees will also learn how EU packaging and sustainability data can help companies navigate and comply with California’s EPR requirements.
