Kirsten Alcock

Director of Product Safety, Dell Tech Laboratories

Kirsten is a seasoned regulatory affairs and hazard communication professional with more than 25 years of industry experience. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Western Ontario and is highly regarded for her expertise in authoring Safety Data Sheets and developing workplace and consumer labels that meet both Canadian and U.S. regulatory requirements. Her work spans a broad range of chemical compliance frameworks, including GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, CCCR, CPSC, VOC, HMIRA, Cosmetic Notifications, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG, IATA, IMDG, DOT), and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs. Kirsten designs and delivers tailored training programs for clients and internal teams, ensuring clear understanding and practical application of complex legislative requirements. A recognized leader in her field since 1999, Kirsten has earned multiple professional certifications and completed more than 280 hours of advanced training through the Society for Chemical Hazard Communication. A member for over 25 years, she had served six years on its Board of Directors and contributed actively to several association committees.
