Luiziana Ribeiro is the Director of Sustainability for BASF in North America, where she leads a team that focuses on developing and implementing strategies, education and engagement tools, programs, policies, and procedures to drive business value and promote sustainability within the organization. She has a diverse and international career, having worked in various regions and roles, such as sustainability, government relations, marketing and communications. Prior to joining BASF, she worked in Public Relations agencies in Brazil, where she developed strategic planning, media relations, social media strategy, and overall reputation management for clients such as Novartis and Nextel.

Luiziana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master's Degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is currently pursuing a Master's program in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation at Harvard Extension School. She is committed to growing her career in a collaborative environment where she can deliver positive results and her efforts in promoting sustainability and innovation have been recognized through various speaking engagements at industry conferences and events.
