Regulatory Development Manager at Plastics Circularity, ExxonMobil

Melanie Bower currently serves as the Regulatory Development Manager for ExxonMobil’s Circular Products business, where she plays a leading role in shaping policy across the Americas to address the plastic waste challenge with innovative, practical solutions.

She is widely recognized for her ability to translate complex science into effective policy, and she frequently represents ExxonMobil in industry associations and external forums, advocating for sustainable practices and balanced regulations.

Her leadership has guided global teams, strengthened regulatory strategies, and helped drive meaningful progress on issues at the intersection of science, industry, and public policy.

Away from work, Melanie enjoys spending quality time with her family—including a playful goldendoodle—and recharging on the beaches of Florida.
