Regulatory Affairs Council
Two powerful regulatory forces – the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) – are reshaping the compliance landscape for CPG companies. CPSC has shifted its enforcement priorities in ways that have led to high-profile cases and introduced new risks, while the Supreme Court’s upcoming review of Monsanto v. Durnell could fundamentally reshape the FIFRA preemption framework on which the industry has long relied. This session will provide attendees with a clear assessment of both developments and practical strategies for minimizing exposure.
