Nicole Quiñonez

Nicole joined the firm in 2012 and represents the firm’s business clients. She focuses on legislation and regulations that would impact products or companies doing business in California. Nicole works with the California Environmental Protection Agency and its departments on the impacts and feasibility of regulations pertaining to consumer products.

Nicole was a lead negotiator for industry on the Cleaning Product Right to Know Act of 2017, which resulted in the first state product disclosure labeling law for cleaning products. She has also worked on the development of the Safer Consumer Products regulation (Green chemistry), Proposition 65 reforms, air and water quality regulations for consumer products, as well as pesticide and packaging related policies. Nicole is co-chair for the Green Chemistry Alliance, an industry coalition working on the implementation of the Safer Consumer Products Program by the Department of Toxic Substances Control. Under the Department of Pesticide Regulation, Nicole serves on the Pesticide Management Advisory Committee.

Prior to her position at the firm, Nicole worked at Lucy & Company, Porter Novelli and the CA Department of Consumer Affairs.

Nicole graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in political science.
