<strong>Speaker: Michael Washburn, <em style="color: gray;">Principal and Owner, Washburn Consulting: Sustainability & Public Affairs </em></strong> <br><br> California, Colorado, Maine, and Oregon have all enacted Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for packaging that aim to promote increased recycling and a more circular economy. Companies that produce products with obligations under EPR laws will need to have a deep understanding of their packaging data and have a process and system in place for making decisions about their packaging portfolio and reporting to Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs). This session will discuss how companies can prepare for EPR compliance readiness and strategic insights on EPR policy development.
