Luaren Duffy
Lauren Duffy is the lead toxicologist for the Safer Choice program in EPA’s Office of Pollution Prevention. In this role, she leads on chemical reviews to identify safer ingredients for use in Safer Choice-certified products and listing on EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List. From 2018-2020, Lauren led a cross-Agency team that successfully designated 20 Low-Priority Substances, a key milestone under the amended TSCA. In addition to her technical expertise, she played a pivotal role in modernizing the Design for the Environment logo and has organized Safer Choice Partner and Stakeholder Summits. Lauren has been with EPA for 8 years.
