Sam Tochen is a Registration Specialist with the Washington State Department of Agriculture in the Agricultural Environmental Services Division. She is the current Pesticide Special Projects Coordinator, a new role brought about to support recent pesticide legislative activity in the state. She also provides technical reviews of pesticides (Sec. 3, 25b, spray adjuvants) and fertilizers for registration. Prior to this, she worked for Ocean Spray Cranberries as an Agricultural Research Scientist and Driscoll's Inc as a Research Associate with their entomology unit.
