Judah Prero
Judah Prero is Counsel in the Environmental Practice at ArentFox Schiff, where he advises manufacturers, formulators, retailers, and trade associations on chemical regulatory, environmental, health, safety, and product stewardship issues. His practice focuses on federal and state chemical management laws, including TSCA, FIFRA, PFAS-related requirements, ingredient restrictions, consumer product regulations, and emerging sustainability initiatives. He counsels clients on regulatory compliance, legislative and regulatory developments, government advocacy, and strategies for managing evolving chemical and product stewardship obligations.
Prior to private practice, Judah served as Assistant General Counsel for the American Chemistry Council, where he played a leading legal role during the development and enactment of the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, the most significant reform of TSCA in decades. He also served with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, advising on a wide range of environmental compliance and regulatory matters. Judah is a frequent speaker and author on chemical regulation, product stewardship, PFAS, regulatory advocacy, and emerging environmental policy issues.
