Urs Hauser is Senior Sales Manager at Pamasol Willi Mäder AG in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, a manufacturer of filling and testing equipment for aerosols and spray systems. With more than 40 years in the aerosol industry, his work has focused on production safety and in-line pressure and leak testing. He was a member of the European Aerosol Federation (FEA) working group on hot water bath testing, whose validation work led the UN Sub-Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods to adopt criteria for alternative test methods into the 2005 Model Regulations, the framework reflected today in ADR and the EU Aerosol Dispensers Directive. He served on the FEA Board for ten years, four of them as President, and has supported aerosol fillers worldwide in implementing automated leak detection on high-speed filling lines.
